ChattEY: Chattanooga Episcopal Youth
Second Sunday (September-April)
Once a month, typically on Second Sundays we will participate in Chattanooga Episcopal Youth (ChattEY). This is a regional event a regional youth gathering sponsored by all the Episcopal congregations in southeast Tennessee, compete with food, games, music, and outreach projects throughout the year.
One Tuesday a month, parishioners from St. Timothy’s will prepare food to deliver to our neighbors in need at Miller Park. After the food is given out, parishioners will sit down and eat with the folks we served in an effort to build relationships. The food served is typically hotdogs. Meet at St. Timothy’s at 5 p.m. to help cook and at 6 p.m. to help deliver food. We will be back on Signal Mountain at 8 p.m.
Southside Abbey is a radically welcoming Episcopal worship community on the southside of Chattanooga where you will find a community filled with neighbors from all backgrounds. On first Friday of each month, a priest from St. Timothy’s will lead the worship service and St. Timothy’s parishioners will provide the meal for the service. Services are held on Fridays at 6:11 p.m. at the Hart Gallery on 110 East Main St.

General information about youth at St. Timothy's:
All middle and high school aged parishioners are encouraged to participate in EYC. This group will meet on Sunday evenings from 6:00 to 8:00. This group will share fellowship together through recreation, a meal, and devotional study. Periodically, rather than meeting on Sunday evenings, the group will schedule a social event or service project which will take place at a location outside the church but will be coordinated in advance with parents of EYC members.
This group is led by a dedicated group of parent volunteers. Parents of EYC members are welcome to participate in all EYC events, service projects, and gatherings. For more information, contact Elizabeth Burns at firstname.lastname@example.org or join the group Facebook page!
