Class Times
Monday: 9:00 a.m.; 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 9:00 a.m.
Friday: 9:00 a.m.

Yoga is meditation in motion. It is the joining of mind and body, leading to strength, vitality and peace of mind. Yoga is both preventative and therapeutic.

Physical benefits: promotes suppleness of spine and joints; strengthens, tones and builds muscle; improves digestion; increases circulation; relaxes the nervous system; boosts immunities; relieves muscle strain; increases stamina; decreases cholesterol and blood sugar levels; improves balance and grace; increases body awareness; encourages weight loss, etc.

Mental benefits: quiets the mind; centers attention; sharpens concentration; and frees the spirit. 

Yoga classes are Monday evenings at 5:30, and Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at 9:00. Fees are $100 for a card good for 10 classes. If you have any questions, contact Sandi Pierce at 423-886-6989 or sandpierce@aol.com.

Motion, yoga coaxes us
From the confines of the
Known, across the silent
Threshold in vastness.

Yoga is the union of prayer
And movement, guided from
Inside. It is healing and the
Joy of saying yes to life.

Breath, relax and feel the
Body receive its own truth.
