The purpose of the On This Rock Endowment Campaign is to build an endowment that will allow St. Timothy’s Church to continue the good work of those saints who began this vibrant congregation over fifty years ago, and to engage in ministries above and beyond anything we have been able to do in the life of our parish family. The Endowment Fund will not be used for regular parish operations covered by the annual budget. However, it will supplement and grow thriving and future ministries. In addition, your gift may provide you with significant tax benefits.
Examples of Endowed Ministries
Outreach:
♦ Care for those in need in and around our
community.
♦ Expand the College Scholarship Program.
(Currently eight scholarships of $1000 each
are offered to deserving Red Bank High
School students).
♦ Annually sponsor a Habitat for Humanity
House.
Spiritual Enrichment:
♦ Offer outside speakers and expanded programs
that deepen our relationship with God.
♦ Provide specialized training for teachers,
leaders, and facilitators.
♦ Purchase equipment and supplies to enhance
the Christian Formation Program.
Youth Programs:
♦ Funding of annual mission trips and
special service opportunities.
♦ Special Programs for our young people
and their parents.
♦ Develop an active relationship with our
companion diocese, the Diocese of
South Dakota.
Congregational Needs:
♦ Enhance the Parish Health ministry and
grow similar pastoral programs as
needed.
♦ Endowed Music Program for special
events and educational opportunities.
Facilities:
♦ Provide perpetual care for existing facilities.
♦ Modify space needed to accommodate
new ministries.
♦ Ensure the current physical plant will
remain functional and in good repair
for future generations.
