Outreach Ministry

Serving individuals and charitable organizations throughout the Chattanooga area, St. Timothy's lively outreach ministry spreads the love of Christ as it teaches us to value our neighbor.

· Hosting IHN families four weeks a year at the church – providing cozy shelter, delicious meals and welcoming fellowship to people temporarily without a home

· Collecting and filling backpacks with school supplies for children who live on Signal Mountain

· Weekly food collection to benefit Signal Mountain Social Services

· Support Bridge Refugee family

· Monthly work sessions for Habitat for Humanity

· Support of the Hosanna Community, a residential facility for physically challenged adults who wish to live independently, designated as an Episcopal Jubilee Center

·  Support the Sanctuary with funds and volunteers

· Sponsor Appalachian children to Camp Grace Point

· Select and approve Red Bank High School graduates as scholarship recipients Provide oversight to continuing recipients in the program

· Distribute parish outreach budgeted funds to community agencies.

· Participation in Community Kitchen  projects

· Participate in Sharing Christmas with Families, a Metropolitan Ministries’ project., where St. Timothy’s families and the EYC helped bring joy to needy families

·  Thanksgiving Day Grateful Gobbler Walk to benefit the Homeless Coalition agencies

· Signal Mountain Welfare Christmas baskets to the needy

We are grateful for the dedication and enthusiasm of our numerous volunteers in this ministry and welcome everyone who would like to participate.
